반도체의 전기적, 광학적 특성과 관련된 반도체 물성론의 이해를 바탕으로, 반도체재료의 전기적, 광학적 특성분석법의 원리와 특성 및 다양한 표면분석방법에 관하여 강의하도록한다. DLTS, Hall, Electrodhemical C-V, PITCS, PL, AES, XPS, EPMA등이 강의 될 것이다.

기본 열역학 원리를 바탕으로 이를 응용하기 위한 고용체나 반응에 관련된 상세한 열역학적 관계를 살펴본다.

EAM5206 신소재강도학 3 신소재공학과

재료의 기계적인 성질과 이와 연관된 변수들과의 관계에 대해 광범위하게 공부한다. 먼저, 응력과 변형율과의 관계, 탄성거동과 소성거동의 기초이론, 단결정과 다결정에서의 변형거동 등에 대해 공부한다. 그리고, 재료의 미세조직과, 전위, 공공, 걸정립계 등의 결함과 기계적인 성질과의 관계, 다양한 강화기구, 파괴현상 등을 이해한다. 마지막으로, 경도, 강도, 탄성율, 파괴인성 등의 기계적인 성질의 측정, 피로거동, Creep 거동, Creep 저항재료 등에 대해 공부한다.

EAM5506 박막공학특론 3 신소재공학과

박막/후막의 합성방법, 성질, 미세조직 및 응용에 대해 공부한다. 특히 PVD, CVD, MOCVD, 플라즈마 코팅, MBE 등의 박막제조 기법과 원리, 공정상의 변수, 이와 연관된 미세조직 및 특성의 변화를 연구한다. 또한 박막/후막의 내마모, 내식, 윤활, 내산화 등의 기계적 성질과 자기적 전기적 성질과 박막/후막의 미세조직 관찰법과 분석방법에 대해 이해한다.

EAM5510 반도체소자공학 3 신소재공학과

반도체 재료에 기반을 둔 반도체 소자의 구조 및 작동원리에 대하여 개괄한다. p-n 접합구조, FET (field-effect transistor), BJT (bipolar junction transistor) 등의 구조 및 작동 특성에 대하여 살펴본다. 그리고, 이종접합구조 (heterojuction structure)를 활용한 전자소자의 원리에 대하여도 소개한다.

EAM5408 신소재전기화학특론 3 신소재공학과

신소재의 전기화학반응과정을 화학적, 전기화학적, 야금학적 기법을 통하여 분석한다. 전기화학반응의 열역학적, 동역학적 기본을 이해하고 음극방식설계에 응용한다.

본과목에서는 고체에서 일어나는 반응속도를 물리화학적 관점에서 고찰한다. 점결함 열역학과 이동이론을 이용하여 고체반응속도를 이해하도록 한다.

조직제어기술은 연구개발과 생산을 위한 핵심기술이다. 본 강의에서는 조직제어공학의 기본기술인 기계적, 전기적, 전자적 제어기술에 대하여 학습하고 다양한 접근방식을 통하여 이를 응용하는데 그 목적을 둔다.

EAM5601 광반도체및소자 3 신소재공학과

본 수업에서는 반도체 레이저 (Laser diode; LD), 발광소자(Light Emitting Diode; LED) 및 수광소자(Photodiode; PD)의 작동원리 및 구조를 소개하는 것을 주목적으로 하며 이들 광소자 제작 시 고려해야 할 사항들을 반도체 물성의 설명을 통하여 이해시킨다. 높은 발광 및 수광 효율을 갖는 직접천이 반도체의 물성과 효율적인 광소자 작동을 위하여 사용되는 이종접합 구조의 설명을 통하여 발광되는 빛 및 감지되는 빛의 파장과 물성의 관계, 효율적인 광소자의 구조 설계 방안 등을 설명한다.

EAM5604 플라즈마공정 3 신소재공학과

박막의 제조 및 식각 등에 많이 이용되는 플라즈마에 대한 기본적인 이론과 적용에 대하여 다룬다. 주요내용은 가스, cross-section, plasma, DC plasma, RF plasma, physical vapor deposition, 그리고 plasma etching이다.

지금까지는 세라믹 소재들이 고전물리학에 기반한 절연성 특성 및 고내열성 특성에 대해 학습이 이루어진 반면에, 최근에는 세라믹 소재들이 산화물, 질화물, 황화물, 셀렌화합물 등에서 반도성, 전도성 특성이 있음이 알려지면서, 새로운 소재들에 대한 기초 물성 및 전도성 기구를 이해할 필요가 있다. 또한 이들 소재들을 기반으로한 전자소자들을 디스플레이, 센서, 에너지저장, 광발광 등 다양한 분야에 응용성을 가지고 있어, 차세대 융합소재 중 가장 핵심이 되는 소재들이다. 본 교과목에서는 이들 소재들에 대한 기본 물성, 전도성 기구를 이해하고, 이를 기반으로 응용소자들에 대한 종류, 공정, 특성 평가에 대한 이해를 도모하고자 한다.

EAM5405 분석전자현미경학 3 신소재공학과

투과전자현미경을 이용한 전문적인 지식을 연마하는 과정으로서 electron diffraction의 분석법과 contrast analysis와 그의 응용법, diffraction contract의 이론, image contrast의 계산에 대한 dynamical theory의 적용 등을 강의한다.

본 교과목에서는 주로 금속, 금속 산화물, 탄소 소재 등의 무기 나노소재 기반의 다양한 하이브리드 재료와 나노 복합재료에 대한 포괄적인 내용을 다룬다. 다양한 나노소재의 합성에 대한 기초적인 이해 및 분석기술, 이의 하이브리드화를 위한 화학적인 원리 및 분석을 바탕으로 하이브리드 재료에 대한 이해를 높이고자 한다. 이를 바탕으로 에너지변환 (수소발생, 정전변환 등), 친환경 (미세먼지 저감), 바이오 (항균) 등의 다양한 하이브리드 재료의 응용에 대해서 고찰한다.

EAM5736 에너지및센서소재 3 신소재공학과

다양한 에너지원을 유용한 전기에너지로 변환하는 에너지 하베스팅 기술 및 이를 이용한 센서 기술은 4차 산업혁명 기술 실현에 있어서 급격하게 증가하는 에너지 사용 문제를 해결하고 차세대 스마트 소자 발전의 미래핵심적인 기술로 떠오르고 있다. 이 과정은 압전, 전자기, 자왜재료를 포함하여 다양한 재료의 원자 구조, 물성에 대한 기본 지식과 더불어 여러 에너지 소자들의 변환 효율 향상에 대한 방법을 이해하는데 그 의미가 있다. 본 교과목에서는 이를 바탕으로 풍력, 태양전지, 기계적 에너지, 열전 등의 에너지 하베스팅 기술 및 하이브리드 기술의 전반에 대해 살펴보고, 생성된 에너지를 이용하여 화학센서, 헬스케어센서 등의 다양한 IoT 스마트 센서로의 응용 시스템에 대해서 탐구하고자 한다.

고체 내에 존재하는 다양한 결함의 유형과 이로 인한 성질들에 대해 공부한다. 적층결함, 공공, 전위, 결정입계, 쌍정, 불순물 등의 결함 종류를 알아보고 이와 연관된 성질들에 대해 공부한다. 특히 나선전위, 칼날전위, 부동전위, 가동전위, 굴곡전위 등의 전위의 종류와 전위의 반응, 전위원, 전위에너지, 전위에 의한 응력장, 전위운동 등에 대해 공부하고 전위와 재료의 기계적, 전기적 성질 등의 관계를 이해한다.

EAM4015 IoT첨단센서기초 3 신소재공학과

본 수업에서는 4차 산업 혁명에 근간이 되는 IoT 스마트 센서에 대한 개념을 강의하고 역학센서, 광센서, 온도센서, 자기센서, 습도센서, 음향센서, 화학센서에 대한 기본 이론을 강의하는 것을 목표로 한다. 또한 IoT 스마트센서를 제작하는 FAB 공정에 대한 강의를 진행한다.

EAM5515 IT실장재료학특론 3 신소재공학과

IT실장재료의 특성과 종류, 제조방법, 미세조직 및 응용에 대해 공부한다. 특히 형상기억합금, 자성재료, 초전도재료, 반도체재료, 광학재료, 압전재료, 환경친화적재료, 초경질재료, 비정질재료 등의 성질에 대해 이해하고, 미세조직과 연관된 성질의 변화를 연구한다. 그리고 이들 재료의 다양한 제조방법과 주요제조공정변수, 응용범위에 대해 논한다.

EAM5726 공업설계및전기회로특론 3 신소재공학과

본 교과과목에서는 일반적인 공학 설계도 및 전기, 전자회로도를 이해, 분석하고 스스로 도안할 수 있는 능력을 배양하는 것을 목표로 한다. 이를 위하여 강의 전반부에서는 공학 설계의 개념 및 기본 지식에 대하여 학습하고 이를 실제 설계도로 적용하는 훈련을 하며, 후반부에서는 기본적인 전자회로에 대한 기본적인 이론을 배우고 이를 바탕으로 간단한 전자 회로를 스스로 도안할 수 있도록 한다.

본 교과목에서는 재료공학에 적용가능한 AI(Artifical Intelligence) 기술의 기초 지식과 방법론에 대하여 학습한다. 특히 머신러닝, 딥러닝 등 다양한 AI 알고리즘 및 대량 데이터 분석, 신호처리, 통계적 분석 등의 빅데이터 분석 방법론에 대하여 학습한다. 이후 기 학습한 이론 및 방법론을 기반으로 실제 실험결과에 적용하고 고찰한다.

본 교과목에서는 웨어러블 일렉트로닉스에서 사용되는 전자소재의 기본적인 전기적 특성에 더불어 기계적, 화학적, 광학적 특성에 대하여 학습한다. 특히 전자소재의 기본적인 전자구조의 이해에서 출발하여 이를 위한 유기소재 및 무기소재의 합성 및 공정에 대해서 학습한다. 이후 이러한 웨어러블 전자소재의 최신 응용동향에 대해서 고찰한다.

EAM5738 친환경소재공정특론 3 신소재공학과

다양한 첨단 소재에 대한 연구가 진행되면서 인체 및 환경에 유해한 소재 및 소재공정에 대한 중요도가 높아지고 있다. 이에 따라 본 교과목에서는 신소재공학과에서 접할 수 있는 잠재적 유해 소재 및 소재공정에 대해 소개하고 영향을 예방하거나 최소화 할 수 있는 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 또한 신소재 개발 및 공정을 통해 현재 인류가 처해 있는 환경적인 관점에서 문제점을 해결하고자 하는 연구에 대해 소개하고자 한다. 본 교과목은 학생들의 참여도, 사례 연구, 팀프로젝트, 토론, 중간 및 기말시험을 통해 평가한다.

EAM5209 융합소재응용학특론 3 신소재공학과

최근 자연과학 및 공학기술 분야에서는 기존의 금속, 세라믹, 고분자, 섬유, 전자/전기 등 학문 단위 형태의 연구와 함께 이들 학문의 유기적인 융·복합을 통해 새로운 기능성과 응용성을 가진 기술을 도출하는 연구가 점차 중요해지고 있다. 융·복합 기술 연구의 형태는 목적 및 기술의 범위에 따라 크게 소재간 융·복합, 기술간 융·복합, 산업간 융·복합 등으로 구분될 수 있는데 주된 목적은 기존에 존재하고 있던 소재나 기술, 혹은 새롭게 개발된 소재나 기술과의 융합을 통해 새로운 기능성을 가진 신소재, 그리고 응용기술을 창출하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 금속, 세라믹 소재뿐만 아니라 고분자, 섬유, 하이브리드 소재 등 융·복합 기술 연구에 이용되는 다양한 소재에 대한 전반적인 지식과 더불어 소재간 융·복합을 통해 창출할 수 있는 새로운 기능성 및 응용 분야를 예측할 수 있는 역량 개발이 필요하다. 본 교과목에서는 미래 융·복합 기술 분야에서 핵심 연구자로 발돋움하기에 필요한 지식 함양과 역량 개발을 위하여 융합소재응용학을 주제로 소재 관점에서 융·복합 기술에 대한 내용을 다루고자 한다. 본 교과목의 세부 주제는 크게, i) 융·복합 기술의 정의, ii) 융·복합 기반 기술, iii) 융·복합 응용 기술 등으로 분류된다. i) “융·복합 기술의 정의” 부문에서는 융·복합 연구의 필요성과 함께 최근까지의 주요 융·복합 연구 성공 사례 등을 다뤄 융·복합 기술의 의의와 당위성을 제시하여 융·복합 기술에 대한 이해도를 높이는 것이 주요 목적이다. ii) “융·복합 기반 기술“ 부문에서는 융·복합 기술 연구에 있어 기반이 되는 단위 소재(금속, 세라믹, 고분자, 나노소재 등)별 기술을 중심으로 각 소재의 물리적, 화학적, 전기적 물성을 연구한다. 목적은 융·복합 소재의 응용 연구에 필요한 다양한 배경 지식을 함양하는 것이다. iii) “융·복합 응용 기술” 부문에서는 기반 기술을 바탕으로 융·복합 소재의 새로운 응용 기술 분야(웨어러블 일렉트로닉스 등)에 대한 내용을 다루며, 구체적인 응용 분야와 함께 융·복합을 통한 새로운 기능성을 가진 소재 개발의 접근 방법, 분석법, 응용성에 대한 내용을 연구한다.

EAM5210 융복합소재해외석학세미나 3 신소재공학과

융복합 소재분야는 NT, BT, IT, ET등의 소재기술을 융합하여 새로운 개념의 소재를 창출하는 기술로서 미래사회을 이끌어갈 핵심기술이 될 것 으로 예상된다. 본 교과목에서는 융복합 소재 분야 해외 석학들을 초청하여 학생들로 하여금 융복합 소재분야의 이해를 보다 높일 뿐만 아니라, 최신 연구동향에 대한 정보를 얻을 수 있을 수 있도록 한다. 16주 강의 동안 16명의 해외 석학교수들에게 1주씩 온라인을 통하여 강의를 진행한다. 본 교과목을 통하여 학생들에게 해외 석학으로 부터의 재료공학의 기본원리부터 최신 융합기술까지 배울 수 있도록 함과 동시에 학생들에게 진로탐색 및 창의적 사고력을 기르는데 도움을 주고자 한다.

EAM5725 바이오융합소재 3 신소재공학과

본 수업에서는 재료공학을 비롯한 공학기술이 어떻게 바이오 분야에 접목되어 의료와 환경 분야에 적용될 수 있는지에 대해 학습하는 것을 목표로 한다. 먼저 DNA나 단백질과 같은 대표적인 바이오 분자와 세포, 그리고 생체조직에 대한 기본적인 지식을 습득한다. 이를 바탕으로 마이크로 어레이, 바이오센싱, 약물 전달, 그리고 티슈 엔지니어링 등 여러가지 생체공학 기술을 접하고, 이에 필요한 재료공학 기술에 대해서 학습한다.

EAM5722 나노/융합기술특론 3 신소재공학과

융합기술은 NT, IT, BT, ET 등의 기술을 집적하여 휴먼 인터페이스 시스템에 구현하는 기술로서 미래사회를 이끌어 갈 핵심 기술이 될 것으로 예상된다. 본 과목에서는 이러한 융합기술을 구현할 소자들의 핵심 소재 특성 및 시스템을 다룬다. 특히, 유기재료 및 나노재료에 대해 이들의 물리화학적 특성, 및 공정 등에 대한 학습이 이루어 질 것이고, 융합 기술에 대한 토의가 있을 것이다. 참여 학생들은 주제별로 프로젝트를 진행하고 결과에 대한 발표를 할 것이다.

EAM5514 나노응용소자공학 3 신소재공학과

다양한 재료의 나노구조를 통하여 새로운 물성을 얻을 수 있다. 이러한 나노구조에서 얻을 수 새로운 물성을 이용한 기초 전자, 광학, bio-chemical 소자공학에 관하여 개괄한다.

플라즈마나노신소재는 플라즈마와 나노기술을 융합하여 다양한 기능성 신소재 및 나노 재료를 설계 합성하는 이론 및 응용에 대해 학습하는 것으로 목표로 한다. 따라서 본 과목에서는 플라즈마 소스, 공정 및 재료합성 원리와 더불어 차세대 나노정밀 신소재 설계 및 플라즈마 나노 제어 공정에 대해 이론 및 실습을 통해 학습하고자 한다.
